    Have you done a retune as there was a channel lineup change at the end of last month.
    It may be as you are not connected to the internet a prompt for the box to retune automatically was not sent.

    @niloc @Stevef_fr8ys

    Be aware that TogetherTV is a data channel; it comes over the internet, not the airwaves.

    Inspected 14:35, promising Lancaster At War. On my Freeview LG GX TV, shows this programme. Slight initial glitch where the picture only fills about a third of the screen, but it soon locks on to fill it all.

    On my DTR-T4000 YouView box, eventually shows a placeholder enjoining us to go to togethertv.com to find out how to connect our TV to the internet, or to come back at 3am.

    A state of affairs that, for the YouView box  of course is already the case.

    A retune achieves nothing, but that is probably because I have already done one; certainly, Together TV want you to do one if you haven’t.

    The TV is WiFi, and the YouView box Ethernet, but this isn’t the issue here. Together TV not working is probably because YouView boxes don’t meet the Freeview specification, which seems to matter for data channels. But maybe someone at YouView Towers could confirm this. TogetherTV say they are now an HbbTV simulcast, for what it’s worth, though they do actually broadcast on Freeview OTA between 3am and 7am.

    Or maybe YouView could conflab with TogetherTV, if this is a small misconfiguration and not a fundamental issue, so YouView can get it together with them.

    In the meantime, @niloc, try it on any Smart TV you may own. If it shows up and you just want to watch it, done deal. But if you want to record it, see what provision, if any, the smart TV makes for this. Usually with an add-on USB device.

    Or, as the screen the YouView box gets recommends, come back at 3am 😛

    done re-tune couple of times and connection to internet is good over ethernet cable. Youview must not have appropriate plug in.  Thanks.

    The YouView Core Technical Specification says:-

    We’ve also been very active in industry standardisation, primarily as members of the Digital Television Group (DTG) in the development of the D-Book and connected TV standards. Harmonisation with other European standardisation activity has been sought with HbbTV and the EBU through close liaison via the DTG and more directly where appropriate.

    So we might hope that YouView can handle a compliant HbbTV connected service, just as Freeview can.

    Which is why I am hoping it is just a small glitch that YouView cannot handle TogetherTV, which they will be able to work with TogetherTV to remedy.

    I wonder if making Youview handle TogetherTV will be put on a backlog let alone a to do list.
    It would be nice if TogetherTV were to work on Youview boxes but there are other channels that have HbbTV which either don't work (VisionTV, ChannelBox and Arise News)  There are also channels that despite HbbTV now being available since last year still need an extra red button press after switching channels to be able to watch where my freeview receiver does not require that extra red button press, (On Demand 365, YAAS! and KetchupTV).

    I did a quick check on my SONY KDA49 which uses YouView. TogetherTV, ChannelBox and OD365 all work. I don't really watch these channels but thought I would check to contribute to the thread.
