YouView box won't switch on

My YouView box won't switch on. It had a red light on this morning so I switched it off and on again as I normally would when this happens, but nothing is happening - no lights, nothing. I checked the cables, have switched it off for half an hour and switched it back on but nothing.

Anyone experienced this or have any advice or is it dead?

    Check the back of the box..there's a simple on/off rocker switch. 
    You might have accidentally knocked it by mistake. 
    Also Check the fuse.

    No I've switched it off and on again many times. You mean the fuse in the plug?

    I have had exactly this behaviour - not waking from standby then completely dead on powering off and back on. Tried and tried and tried - nothing.

    Gave up and left it unplugged for a couple of days then gave it once last shot and it sprang into life and has been fine ever since. So don't give up hope, just leave it off for a couple of days and give it another go.

    Didn't work for me unfortunately. Box is dead :(
