Couldn't agree more. Consistently recommended these boxes but now advise all my customers to steer clear of youview.

My bt dtr-t2100 updated this morning. A complete mess indeed and already had to hard reset it 3 times as it just locks up when in the guide. No list view and cannot even get to a certain point in a recording without pressing skip loads of times The designers are seriously in the wrong job.

Thanks - I tried this and it seems to have resolved the problem. Just a shame the 'update' has taken away some very useful features (list view, jump to specific time).

Thanks Roy for the comprehensive reply Thankfully, I kept my humax pvr-9150t so will be dusting it off and using that from now on. I can't stand the tile views and navigation issues on this forced 'update '

Same banner shows up after skipping. It wouldn't be so bad if it disappeared after a second when resuming play mode, but mine stays on for at least 5 seconds!

My bt dtr-t2100 just received this update. Absolutely horrendous but to cap it all off ;my box locked up after browsing the guide and is now completely bricked! It shows no signs of life even after pulling the plug. Any advice before it goes in the bin and I ring virgin to go back to them? Thanks youview developers! f
