I've decided to work from the premise that they won't be. I access this through a blueray player. If my human box ever broke I might just invest in a smart tv instead of another youview box

We have Netflix and lovefilm. Like them both for what they offer, lovefilm for films, netxlfix for tv series. Always manage something to watch. Would be quite happy to give up lovefilm for DVD rental and use use blinkbox or the like whenever I want a more up to date title. Agreed though youview is great as a pvr and…

Got a pretty good deal on now tv via groupon this week, 6 months for £14.99 or something like that, this has given me the chance to really see how good youview could be as a box if Netflix and lovefilm ever arrived, one unit for live tv, pvr, catch up tv, streaming. When all of this is here the youview box will be worth…

Agreed rob, I bought youview at launch on the loose suggestion lovefilm etc were on their way, over a year later and still not arrived. I was frustrated at the time but decided to upgrade our DVD player to blueray so just chose a Samsung smart one and now have lovefilm, Netflix, blinkbox and more on tap. I would have…

Forgive me if I don't hold my breath on that one ;-)

We must be nearly into a year with youview now and no new online content, I didn't listen to people who were saying youview were too late to the party....I'm starting to have my doubts

Still can't get the 4od player to work, it's very odd Contacted 4od who initially told me that my Internet connection was too slow, it isn't (10Mb download) Then said my box wasn't up todate with firmware, it certainly appears to be Then said my box didn't have the most up to date player, it does Now have "escalated" the…

Agreed, this has been dragging on a while now, it probably will come......at some undisclosed time in the future....maybe. I stopped holding my breath ages ago, especially since I can now watch both on the wii. It would be great if it was on youview and it will be a string to its bow if it does appear

Thanks, have emailed, will await their reply

Agreed, this is taking quite a while now
-
Agreed, I suspect/hope that this will come soon :-) I wonder if lovefilm will be first, talktalk customers were given a years free lovefilm streaming and at the minute they can't stream on youview so suspect that talktalk somehow expected it to be available ready for their launch, I'm not a fan of talktalk but can't…

Taken from lovefilm site, it appears can be used on 3 devices at same time Can other family members be watching a different film to the one I'm watching? Yes. Up to three films can be streamed at any one time. If a fourth stream is attempted, you may see a message onscreen advising you that you have reached your limit. You…

I think this is with talktalk is that right? I didn't think you could access lovefilm through youview box yet (non talktalk) some time ago there was debate on talktalks forums and it seems a bit of naughty sales suggestion..... In that they will give you 12 mths streaming for free when you take out the talktalk youview…

I see lovefilm is coming to the wii soon, hopefully it won't be long before they launch on youview
-
No worries Martin, I understood that was your best guess, that would be my guess as well. Have to say that I do like the youview concept and have been very impressed with the box/the catch up integration
-
That would be great, currently accessing Netflix via the wii, and lovefilm through laptop connected to wii but had mail shot from lovefilm announcing they will be via wii from sept/octal it's not the end of the world but it would be nice to not have to mess around changing inputs on the tv, it would be nice of the remote…
