Cheers Roy. I thought that may be the case but wanted to check if there was another way first. Might put a new harddrive in at the same time in case that is failing, hence the recording issues.

Talktalk were probably working on that release before the accessibility update was made available to them. As they have to load their software on top of the standard YouView stuff it would of probably delayed their update to start work on the new version. It will probably be released in the next update from them. As I said…

Gwatuk - And YouView has fulfilled that part of the spec/requirements regardless of how many boxes it is on. I'm sure there will be further improvements moving forward as well.
-
BBC Trust can request the feature but YouView only have direct control over the retail boxes (who have received this update). BT and Talktalk don't have to push through an update until they are ready. Its up to their own development schedule. Same thing happens with the Android mobile market.

I cant find the exact one but this is similar. I think seenit had another linked on one of his stories as well. They seemed to tease alot about availability on launch day. https://twitter.com/NOWTV/status/3951...

NowTV is tweeting they will have news on YouView soon so they seem to think they will be able to offer something. Maybe they are waiting for the IPTV update?
-
YouView linked to this post before the comments started rolling in. I'm sure they read the majority that is posted, especially in response to their official updates.

To be honest the update isn't useful to me but I do know it is to others. I think you have to look at this update as a step towards new features. Who knows what changes have been made in the code that work the system to facilitate the release of these features.

Just because you cant see the other work they have been doing, it doesn't mean it hasn't been happening. They will be working on stuff behind the scenes that takes time to bring out into the public view. The last 2 months wont have been dedicated to these improvements. There is also the possibility this update helps pave…

When did this forum get so negative! Which similar company is developing faster than YouView? Yes its annoying that they can't fix every bug straight away and yes its annoying that you can't have all the new shiny features straight away, but there is a team of people working hard to bring all those features. Why not cut…

I had the same problem yesterday. Been fine before. I have had to change my sound output on my Humax box back to Stereo rather than Surround. That has fixed temporarily. Only happens when I record or live watch any HD channel. SD channels are fine regardless. Seems that there was a number of sound issues that started…

Its a known issue with the Huawei box (talktalk) that they are looking into. http://community.youview.com/youview/...

Something seems to have happened to all my Channel 4 variants scheduled recordings. I had programmes on series link on E4 and More4 last Thursday and they had all disappeared and failed because of that. Should have paid more attention when reapplying them as I missed the schedules series from yesterday on E4 that had…

You Can always do what I did. Log into myharmony. Use the support tab and ask them to add the following codes for the Humax DTR-T1000 (assuming you have the black Humax box): 0x000812ED On Demand 0x00089867 MyView Took them about 24 hours for me and now it is available to select as usual.
-
Are you using the Humax or Huawei box?
-
I have the Humax box. Should have put that in my post sorry.
-
I also emailed Logitech support to add the On Demand and MyView codes for me. I don't know if that means they are available for all now but I can see them. Took less than 24 hours as well. Great service.

You first have press the up button on the remote to enter the recordings list and then use the left and right arrows to change pages.

Same thing is happening to me as described by Pat. Only noticed in the last few weeks really.
