Thanks for all the comments. I suppose my question relates round the fact that the newish film category on the sub menu next to TV shows, does by & large only display terrestrial channels but includes NOW TV.. why is this included when Netflix, Amazon Prime & Britbox are not?

I think you're missing the point Peter S is trying to make. There are indeed 6 channels on the screen in HD. Beeb 1 & 2 itv, 4, 5 & BBC 4. When the cursor highlights the next to bottom or top, one of those channels move out of view, this did not happen before & is needed very annoying.

This is indeed a joke. 2017 - NextGen software & still only the BBC provide subtitles on catch up. Why is this? Is it Youview or the individual channel? Whichever it is it needs sorting very quickly. PLEASE,

Sorry, it's not the same is it? But I tried to clear the obscuring info panel after pausing etc. when using 4play. Maybe it's always done that, I'm not sure. Anyway, I still think there is an inconsistency when the same button does two different things depending how you're watching.

Just a note about the back button. It does indeed get rid of the blue panel when in live tv or recordings but in catch-up tv via iplayers it exits you from the service. Not very consistent & very confusing!

What do you mean exactly by " MyTV will rearrange the order of the tiles" when I try all that happens is when I delete the latest episode recorded, the order stays the same, minus the latest episode recorded, which I've just deleted! Am I missing something?

I agree Roy, Visionman seems to have taken the view that this was an invalid or stupid question when many of us know that the new system is confusing & cumbersome, especially with regard to recordings.

Hi Roy. Yes I'd already tried the soft rest but it hadn't worked. I've just resorted to maintenance mode keeping recordings & that seems to have done the trick. Thanks for all your help. Mike

Yes sorry about the double posting. I am aware of all your points thanks. It's the humax dtr t2100 & the front light stays purple instead of red. It just boots up quick as in low Eco mode even though high is set. It's only just started doing it, as I've said I have shut it off overnight & when I switch on again it goes red…

I just saw the official response from 3years ago re the eco startup times. Surely three years is long enough to have made SOME time improvement! It still takes over two minutes from high Eco mode & for those of us that care about the planet & the cost of electricity this is the only option. Please make some improvements.

Have you tried removing power from your hub for ten seconds & reconnecting? Don't just reboot but remove power.

I totally agree. Why can't we have padding & why also can't we have time based recording available as well as programme based? This used to be how we set recordings & whilst I agree that we have moved on leaps & bounds since those early days, I would have liked to have kept the baby after having dumped the bath water!…

Hi. I haven't had these problems but I did have some issues the other week which weren't resolved by any of the conventional methods. I eventually disconnected my hub for two minutes. I had already rebooted it three times without success! Dissconnecting immediately solved my problems. Worth a try. Good luck. Mike

I would agree with Roy that rebooting the Router / Hub is the next thing to try. There has been a software update installed this week 18.10.10 & this may have effected things.

Not sure if this will help but you could try a deeper reboot. There's no risk of losing anything. Instead of just switching off & on, try this. The hold in the big button on the front, I think it's about ten seconds until it goes off & comes on again. If this doesn't work you will need to contact your provider. I.e. BT or…
