Right, well I'm done, I can't spend anymore time hearing about the same problems with nothing from YouView. I will comment again when they next update the box to address the mytv and other well identified problems, which might therefore be never.

I do hope that "a quick reset" or shut it down and restart don't become standard practice to fix bad coding

My experience with nextgen is that it has generally been quite fast and responsive. However I am noticing a little sluggishness appearing in the User interface, tiles are blank, then some text appears then the pictures and the guide not being as quick to load. My box has only frozen once so has not had a power off and on…

Thank god the big tile has gone, but now seems slower to populate. Doesn't address the bigger issues though.

It is now not really that they did, but what and when they put it right by improving based on feedback. If and when this happens beggars can be choosers.

I'm confused by the roll out dates? I have talktalk as my ISP but no TV package with them. I have a human YouView box retail bought from Amazon, yet I received my update with TT branding before the retail roll out?

Keith crossed over with you, I have no idea what action panels are, but my list (pun intended) is list view for mytv; hiding channels from guide; hiding pay tv options from search; and clearer text if images are background, because my 32" LCD is sat a good 4 metres away (will get bigger to when this fails) and it is harder…

I hope YV have listened and bring some rapid improvements along. Following the money to the ISPs they may be but it now means if I ever (unlikely) want pay to channels I would be going to a non YV provider, guess the ISPs might eventually get the message if this happens.

I think we get it that the tiles are staying, but that doesn't mean we can't express our view that it was a mistake and would like a list view back.

Fair point, my contrast was more that new members have felt strong enough to get involved and try and put things (in their view) right. It would be relatively easy to simply pick another provider and walk away, but many liked the YV features.

Sorry, but for a team to release such a shameful update as you note that was not ready really means that there can be no trust for a speedy resolution. Rubbish, the large tile means nothing. my 11 year old has moaned non stop about how this new interface is rubbish and can she have the old view back! Also channel hiding is needed urgently with my children using the box....

When you are looking at this on a smaller screen from a distance it is completely useless to decipher. I also pick what I am going to watch from the length which is not visible
