Hi Sanj, Thanks a lot for your help its working now. What I did was as follows: 1. Tried a manual update - but got a message saying that download had failed. 2. Soft reset by holding down button front of box for a few seconds 3. Manual upgrade - box rebooted itself BT Player and ISP Channels now working OK. The software…

I've just tried that and it just says "software up to date" and doesn't install anything.

I did a manual upgrade last night - and it seemed to do an upgrade as it rebooted the box. However when I logged in I lost all my BT IP channels as well as the BT TV App. On looking at the version though it seems like an old version has been installed. My box's details are (purchased direct from BT): Humax DTRT100 Variant…

It's probably not the same thing as what you're getting - but for those without perfect eyesight its easy to miss that previously-recorded programs come up on the guide with the red R symbol but with a tiny tick on them to indicate that they've already been recorded. If you don't look carefully you may think things are…

Hi Roy thanks for your reply. It is indeed a Samsung and I have tried the zoom key but it doesn't seem to affect the issue - I can make the picture larger and smaller but when I go back to "normal" I still get the problem. I would also expect if it was the zoom feature then I'd have the same problem with the actual TV…

Actually the British government doesn't pay for any transmitters - the broadcasters do. The only "public" money is that paid out of the license fee by the BBC to the transmission company (Arquiva?). Assuming Scottish independence does happen, then I would assume Scotland would have it's own regulator and perhaps a Scottish…

For info I've got a BT-supplied box and am on the latest BT software version and I'm using HDMI into a Samsung Series 5 LED TV.

This hasn't happened to me in a fair while now. I'm not sure if it's down to the restart or something else. However, I don't know what that "something else" could be as I haven't had a software update since August.
-
It could be so I'll try it tonight but the problem seems so widespread that this needs to be fixed by YouView rather than everyone having to do the restart workaround. Thanks for the suggestion though.

This has just started to happen with me over the last week or so - mysteriously enough well after the last update - but at least I know I'm not alone and hopefully YouView/Humax will be addressing this with the next software release?

I'm seeing the following internet channels on my BT YouView Box which weren't there yesterday: 507 BT Sport 1 508 BT Sport 2 510 BT Sport 1 HD 511 BT Sport 2 HD If you click on any of the above it prompts you to set it up then takes you to a splash screen saying to phone or go online to BT to subscribe to the channels. As…

I got this yesterday (again I got my box on 27 June) :-) From other posts it seems as if this is to do with the June update. All I had to do was to switch off the box (using the swtich at the back) and switch it on again and everything was OK.
