Which transmitter are you on? The reports I have seen seem to relate to crystal palace and channels on coms 7 and 8.

I've reported this too. I'm only getting this on my Humax box. I also have a TalkTalk box on the same aerial, connected via a splitter / booster so same signal. I've swapped the leads round to no effect. TalkTalk bix is showing signal on Quest HD a…

And one I've seen remove their entertainment boost thinking the £4 gives them 80 channels over and above freeview!

Yes, the box will function as a retail box on a new provider, and also TalkTalk, if you ask them to remove the TV option from you contract and save the £4.

I was staying with friends last week who have TalkTalk broadband and phone. They signed up last year and specifically said no TV. they have their own youview box. That box is not showing any boost channels, and neither have they had an email regard…

There is another thread running on this topic here https://community.youview.com/youview/discussion/7604952/charges-dropped-for-talktalk-multi-room#latest

What will be interesting is the next round of funding. I think it was in 2014 that partners all agreed to continue funding YouView for at least the next 5 years. You do the Math. Is the £4 charge to drive people from using the Boosts? I have specul…

I was on an old legacy contract years ago and bought my own youview box. When I phoned up to query something, I was informed if I renewed my contract I would get a free box and the free sky channels as part of my broadband deal. I think that for a…

No that is rubbish. Can you post this on the TalkTalk forum please as the forum manager is collating such wrong information and feeding it back. Thank you. Link below https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/TalkTalk-TV/bd-p/116

I'll leave it there. No more comments on this please. @jimb I doubt you will get any reassurances here. If you do an internet search, as I mentioned, you will see the "experts" can't agree.

If you do an internet search, there are varying opinions on the security risk posed. If you really are that concerned that you are being spied upon, or that the Chinese government are going to somehow bring your internet crashing down, then it's for…

What is not mentioned here is that all TV customers will be charged £4 to access the TV offerings of TalkTalk going forward. That is the Boosts and the TV / Film rental / purchasing store. Those previously on the MultiRoom offering will basically …

I've been getting similar issues on BBC4 HD on my T2000 box. I have a 372T box on the same aerial. They are connected via a 2-way splitter/booster. I have changed the leads and swapped the outputs and the issue persists. The picture does not break …

Visionman said Why? As hardly anyone will watch them? I would. Would get over the clipping of programme issues CBS don't seem to want to resolve.

You could get an aerial splitter and then run a lead direct into both, thus cutting the link between the box and TV.
-
I use it to access BBC red button services. Don't know if it has any other function.

My tile just shows ketchup as the player, but accessing this all players show for selection.

Nor in mine. If you think this may have coincided with the update issues have you tried forcing a check on the update and restarting? Have you tried a retune of channels? Or failing that trying a maintenance mode, keep recording reboot? If none of t…

A similar poster on the talktalk forum recently, was able to resolve this by taking out the aerial lead and then returning the box so there were no channel's found, and then replacing the lead and again returning. There appears to be a "memory" with…

There was an update last night. Confirmed by on OCE on the forum. Seems that something was tweaked to allow a manual update to fix as in the early hours of this morning that trick did not work, nor did maintenance reset pull in the correct update.
