I think it's a fair conclusion, given the number of comments that have been bumped away.
-
Still waiting here!
-
Just to add, I've had this series set to record since it started and it only records the C5HD Wednesday 9pm broadcast. I have seen the behaviour described above by Roy, recording earlier episodes, albeit on a different programme series. I set a series link for GPs: Behind Closed Doors on C5HD Wendesday 8pm part way through…

On the whole I'm happy with the speed of NextGen. Certainly no complaints in comparison to OldGen!
-
For comparison, my T2100 travelled accross 36 tiles in 10 seconds.
-
I've looked for the 'repeat' identifier before and have just rechecked. Unfortunately it doesn't appear on any of the episodes I've checked, of which I know many to be repeats.
-
Liz, that comment was originally made at the end of last year. So next year is now this year!
-
Just to add, I have a current series record where the channel has decided to rebroadcast the series from the beginning using the same series link ID. In this case, I find the 'New' tag useful to enable me to quickly identify and delete the old/repeat episodes. If YouView were to consider removing this tag from the…

The rules also state not to make uninvited remarks about duplicate posts ;) I think if users were prevented from repeating themselves, then this place would be much quieter! Also, after reading the rules, I see that even seasoned users have broken them recently. Shocker!
-
Where is this cross-post, Daniel?
-
My DN370T is so slow at responding to remote commands. I'm hoping NextGen will speed it up. Probably wishful thinking!
-
Based on my interpretation of Stephen's comments. Plus I'd take anything TalkTalk say with a pinch of salt. Still waiting for NextGen on my DN370T!
-
It was possible to go right, if you had more than one page of recordings.
-
Possible, I suppose. Though I believe unlikely.

Here, Jimb. https://community.youview.com/youview...
-
The work-around is to search for said programme and set the reminder from there.
-
The landing position for MyTV is the same as Old Gen. Though I think it was obvious where you were. I'm undecided on whether I'd like it changing or not.
-
Just to add, Stephen has suggested that the 'action panel' may possibly return before the 'hide channels' function does.
-
How do you mean, Dave?
-
VM, out of curiosity, are you the Visionman on the 'myhumax' forum?
-
VM, I ask because the Visionman on the 'myhumax' forum seemed to indicate they had confirmation that the feature would be returning. Which of course would be great news!
-
Visionman, did you say the following on another forum? Or is it a different person with the same username? "The timebar 'jump to' feature is the one I miss too. This has been fed back and will be addressed in a future release, along with a few other features."
-
Daniel, you can still read threads on here without creating an account. So the date someone has joined the forum is not necessarily indicative of the date they first started reading it.
-
As Joe clearly details above, you are in the YouView UI. There's not much more that can be said without repeating previous comments.
-
Visionman, you don't pass the Player splash/loading screen to get to the above mentioned UI, thus you are not in the Player portal.
-
Joe, it's good to know someone else can also see the obivious! My main point was why was there an inconsistency in the landing points between the two screens to begin with. Although that has now been rectified. I agree with Kieth that there are other areas that should be priority for change. :)
-
Joe, I mention this very screen in another thread and was told by numerous people that it was part of the individual Players. Apparently it was not design by YouView! I disagree. https://community.youview.com/youview...

Retail. Brought second-hand and never actually been with BT.
-
My BT T2100 has updated today to version 27.50 after a manual update check.

It's a great remote. Was a bonus when they upped the device limit to 8 a couple of years back!
