Navigating multiple episodes in a series is probably the biggest one for me. It is utterly painful scrolling through a long list of large thumbnails in the next gen interface. Give me back the pages in list format so i can quickly jump multiple episodes at a time by clicking through pages and get to the episode I am after…

I guess we all have different views on what the biggest mole is!

So are there any plans to do the following?* Reduce the amount of time the OSD is onscreen e.g. when you pause, continue playback etc.? * Return to a title based display with pages we can skip between to allow us a much faster way of navigation the likes of a series folder with a large number of episodes? These are two of…

It's a start but please also bring back a list view to make navigating the episodes easier in the first place!

Doesn't appear to have much in the update although the one fix listed is a very important one... 'When selecting a series in MyTV and playing an episode, pressing the 'Back' button on the remote control will now return you to the episode selection screen.' It's a start.

I find the new UI a little sluggish now on my DTR-2100 and that is after a reboot. It actually looks like a lower frame rate due to the population of effects and tiles etc. The previous version was definitely quicker and felt slicker.

Okay, my biggest issue with this update is definitely the recording page. I have a series recording with 45 episodes in the folder for my two toddlers. When you go into the series folder, you only get 5 episodes displayed and there is no way to jump forward a page at a time. When you go into this folder, you are always…

I'm with John and Roy on this one. When seeking through the timeline, the darkened vignette effect really hampers identifying where you are in darker content. If you know the exact time you are seeking to then fine, If you are looking for something specific in the video content then this new method is a pain. Also, once…

I agree. Got my box updated this morning. The new recordings page is horrible to read and I can't believe there is no option to switch back to a list view. I also don't like the vignette effect when seeking through content as it makes it harder to find an exact point when watching dark content. Also, as others have…
