Thanks.
-
Yes it is a BT ex-subscription box, and yes I meant software not firmware.
-
Thanks to both of you. I do try to manually update periodically but nothing yet.
-
Just reconnected my T1000 to the internet and checked for the update, and it's downloading now. Thanks.
-
Sorry what are chemtrails?
-
What are you talking about “If they released all of the updates at once,” They have taken features away. I want back what I ALREADY had. Try that with business customers and see how long you would survive.
-
What a childish thing to say.

Vanilla Humax: I will investigate at the time, as tec is constantly changing. I only got a Youview box as it was only £75 brand new from eBay I was strapped for cash at the time. I didn’t even fully understand what Youview was at the time. I just wanted a box that could record 2 channels at the same time like the Humax…
-
Who’s being over dramatic Daniel? If youview go back to lists I will chuck my box into the nearest skip. Next generation is NOT fantastic as it has taken away features we already had, and added nothing of any importance. Youview can sort it or not sort it, I don’t care I will not be buying another Youveiw box once my T1000…
-
Thanks Daniel, it happens every so often it normally resolves itself in a day or two.
-
Thank you, will unplug and see how it goes.
-
Anyone know the reason why when you scroll down on the bottom channel on a page in the TV guide, WHY does the page move up one channel?
-
In the previous UI you could delete a single upcoming recording from a series set to record.
-
OK so if I pull the internet connection from the box, what will I lose apart from guide rollback and catch-up?
-
OK so what will they do with the information collected?
-
How they have the gall to call the latest firmware an upgrade is beyond me. They takeaway major functionality, make things more difficult to navigate, Did they give the job to the work experience person? Whoever is responsible for this travesty should be fired.
-
Thank you for that.
-
Thanks, what a mess I hate the new UI.
-
Thanks Visionman. All sorted now.
-
Thanks both of you for the help: Now have 13 HD channels including Talking Pictures, the problem. The aerial feeds come into the loft and down to the airing cupboard; looks like the wife tried to jam too many towels in and partly pulled the aerial cable from the plug. Now fully secured.

Could it be something to do with it being a BT not a retail box? Definitely on Crystal Palace, 216 channels HD Channels BBC1,2,3. ITV1, 4HD CBBC only?
-
Don’t have a TV I use a monitor Tried a retune no joy, my local transmitter is a lite. But if memory serves I am on the Crystal Palace transmitter. My list of HD channels is BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, ITV1, CH4 Because on the no channel reorder I have hidden all the 4Seven, E4, More4, 5*, 5+1 5+24 and so on.
-
Well I’ve just found the answer to my question. Yes you are given the option to resolve a recording conflict by a hidden +1 channel.
-
I was under the impression that YouVeiw players had no skip function when first launched? The point I was trying to make was that surely the commercial partners suffer more by allowing 15/60 second skip, than they would if they were moved down in the schedule.
-
I can’t understand why they won’t do this yet there commercial partners have allowed the 15/60 second skip function.
-
Is there a list of channels that are known for missing start/stop times?
-
Only goes up to channel 732 LBC radio. Although I do have 50 hidden channels.
-
Hi Yes it’s the Humax BT YouVeiw DTR-T1000 box, I have sent an online request to Harmony asking them to add the codes to my account. Hopefully it won’t take long? Many thanks Barry

Thanks for your response. I want to use a single key press to access the recordings list and single key press to access the schedule, apparently this is possible?
