Good point.

Sounds great. But there must be a standard rollout across boxes such as the Humax and Huawei boxes
-
Cheers matey :)
-
It happens to me too on Demand Five. Mine at least streams fine, then a few seconds after the ad breaks I get picture breakup which eventually corrects itself (if it doesn't make the box unstable first). Or at least it does on my TalkTalk box.
-
So what happened to the Youtube channel? It's gone
-
Drives me nuts. Freesat keeps a list of reminders set. Come on YouView
-
I believe TalkTalk are planning to add the boost channels to the main YouView EPG eventually. If you are on TalkTalk I would pester them over on their forums.
-
Unfortunately I have the same problem, as do a few others. Especially on the Huawei box. The TV standby button appears to have a double function.
-
Cheers :-)

Agreed. The admin name is clearly to try and fool some. Come on mods. Remove this idiot. We don't want this forum spammed.

I just scanned my TalkTalk Youview box for services, and it returns 8081 Black Ice ICECAP user console. Interesting:-)
-
For four digit codes you have to hold down the green TV button and OK until the TalkTalk light flashes :)
-
I wish they would fix it. Doesn't happen on Freesat. But on YouView Channel Five is a nightmare for recording.
-
Series record does appear to be broken. I don't know if it's caused by the broadcaster or the software on the box.
-
I did wonder why it listed a Record entry and Series Record for the same program. It really lost the plot with Channel 5 Mentalist tonight. It started to record Channel 5 and then decided to Record 5+1 too. I know I like The Mentalist, but that's ridiculous! Cheers for the replies. At least now I won't go deleting a Record…

I have the same problem with series link recording. I set it to record the new series of The Mentalist on Five. I then went into My View, and saw two entries there for Record, and series record for the same program. And even worse it had added a record entry for The Mentalist on 5*. I removed the 5* recording and left…

I recall that before TalkTalk updated software to allow customers to change the output resolution themselves, OCE's could do it remotely. Would love to know how they did it.
-
Definitely :-)
-
NASA TV and Youtube. The PS3 YouTube app is now rather good(as long as you create a US account to install it). The Android remote function works well.
-
Eurosport is being added to BT's YouView service.
-
Sorry it's for Huawei. On Humax try pressing the TV button first, then the power button. Although if the Humax remote has a TV button that you have to press first then you would be in TV mode when entering TV codes. I know on some remotes you hold down the TV and ok together for a few seconds to enter code input mode. I…

As for setting a recording, then I am afraid to say that sometimes one would like to watch it then and not record it first. And as far setting reminders. In a busy household reminders are a godsend. Which is why reminders were centre-place back when the Sky Digital box was first launched. And they have been there ever…
-
Also add the ability to add a daily or weekly reminder. Cannot believe you cannot do this now. My Freesat +HD box supported this from the start.
-
Hi, Simply try the green TV :-) I got the codes from my Humax Freeway manual.

Well Youtube will be on the new Freesat boxes next month. So hopefully they will launch on Youview soon too. As long as Youview supports HTML5 that is.
-
Hi. Thanks, I tried that. I have a stack of codes in my Humax Freesat manual, but unfortunately as yet with every code I have tried. The TV will switch off as normal when testing after entering the fourth digit. But when it comes to normal use, pressing the green standby button( Huawei) changes the source inputof the…

I have found some codes that work with my Hitachi 42" Plasma, but every time I press the TV power button on my Huawei remote, it acts as if I have pressed the AV button and changes the input of my TV. If I press it again, the TV then switches off :(
-
The Huawei only accepts 1 or 4 digit codes.
-
Weird.I have gotta say that as long as the TV power button(green) and OK are pressed and held together for a a couple of seconds then it works fine. Plenty of time to enter the four digit codes. After you have pressed the fourth digit, the TalkTalk button will flash to tell you that the code has been accepted. I dug out my…
