• Being the OP i can confirm that a hard reset is required. I have often had the box crash at midnight, and left it only to wake up in the morning at it is still frozen on the same show. The box becomes unresponsive to any button presses. I have been able to put the box into standby but it wakes back to the frozen netflix.
