Nope. Still on 72.48.72 / 3.6.82
-
It is net connected.
-
I do have TalkTalk boxes. I have two Huawei DN372Ts
-
Again, on Plusnet and not received this update yet. Anyone who is and has? Thanks.

And....today there was a retune or reallocation of LCNs or something, the Panasonic had 'New Channels found! Hit OK to retune' The Humax....channels are hidden, therefore loss of scheduled recordings and missing HD channels. Fortunately, the Panasonic is ably recording. Despite the inferior EPG, I'd rather have stuff…

Hard drive removed. There was enough on a disk diagnostic to warrant changing the disk. So I've swapped it out for a newer model with less power consumption, a better spindle speed and more cache. The drive was uninitialised in Windows prior to fitting (no partition info). Full internet reset and set up. Took a little…

The hard drive is almost empty! (I will whip the hard drive out when it's empty and run a diagnostic.) It's been 10 days without losing channels.....(but there are no recordings scheduled either) ....Merry Christmas.

Got this phased update, we knew because the box crashed in standby. It's rarely used, in fact we stopped retuning the missing HD channels as it was happening far too often. We are watching off the recordings (slowly). Tonight I've done another retune as essentially the lost channels stayed lost after the update crash. Will…

The HWT150 is the one I have. The only grumble I have is the remotes clashed and it was fiddly to move the BluRay to another mode (it's on Mode 3). Lights still flash on the wrong unit when using the Recorder or Blu-Ray remotes but don't seem to cause any misoperation. Also, the Viera Link can't be turned off, on the…

Yeah this is where it gets annoying. I don't have the update yet as I'm non-subscribed and on Plusnet. Still on 32.35.0 More to report, had the box try a retune event (no doubt due to Bilsdale on 13/11?) on the 15th - it did not crash, but the retune was very short so I doubt anything actually changed. Last night…

OK - ENOUGH! Is there a box that is not afflicted with this problem? We are losing scheduled recordings due to the loss of the channels we record. The Huaweis are too slow as main boxes. Is the problem limited to T2100, just some T2100 or are the T2200 and T4000 affected also? Will just have to buy our way out of this…

Another loss of channels they are hidden once more. I have retuned and taken a reading of the channel signal strength for the BBC One SD regional variation. Leeds 97%, East Yorks & Lincs 87%, North East and Cumbria 62%. (PSB1) Other multiplexes (174,000W unless stated) ITV 98% (PSB2) More4+1 98% (PSB3 - carries HD LCNs…

If it's any bearing, there was a difference between BT (T2100) and Humax (372T) on the retune event. Same aerial feed. The BT box crashed from the retune event banner on startup. 'Skip' and initiation of channel tuning was required. (This was after at least three attempts to do the retune via the banner). When picking up…

The BBC really need to sort out the 'hold OK to restart' as it didn't work on last night's recording of SCD.
-
As highlighted.
-
As as pointed out to me previously via PM the loss of HD channels from the guide on the T2100 is still occurring in this release. The last event was sometime between Tuesday PM and Wednesday PM.

Even just a notice to say the system software has been updated is enough for those wishing to seek out the changelog. The last one was the 'harmonisation' update when all the BT/TalkTalk boxes became YouView boxes. That actually had like a 'welcome to youview' tutorial IIRC. Not necessary unless there is a major revamp,…

Well, I went ahead with the Magic Tape and initial impressions are positive :)
-
Can you quantify 'grey cloth' please? I assume this attenuates reception, thus filtering out the background 'noise' Would anything like Scotch/3M Magic Tape be effective?
-
Happened again last night (losing HD channels). This is frustrating and is obviously hardware specific as the Huawei boxes just sail along without issues. Edit: So after checking just now the software is updated to the latest BT release. Hopefully the fix is in there! Will post back in that thread should there be a…

Spoke too soon, just happened or became aware of it having happened having just powered the box on today.
-
Hasn't been a problem for a while. Is this considered resolved or a known issue? My box is still on this software revision, just trying to tidy up loose ends on my outstanding lists. Thanks.
-
Yeah we were down to 127 TV channels, after retuning have 175. Subscription channels at 79 (unaffected); we don't have any subscriptions :)
-
Goole, so quite low down ;)
-
Well, the TV was in use until late last night. This morning the BT box was frozen on the red light, had to turn it off and on. No channels are missing, but the box is misbehaving for sure.
-
I'll check mine again when someone has finished watching ITV.... But that's two of us on Emley Moor. @RHardaker what are the other transmitter regions you are offered? I can receive Belmont (E Yorks & Lincs, next strongest) and I get most channels unusable from Bilsdale (North East).
-
And now we have lost COM8. Retuning before I lose any more. Is this box on the fritz?
-
Just gone again. (Box said something like 'this channel is hidden' Switching to channels revealed; BBC A/PSB 1 OKBBC B/PSB 3 Missing all HD channels we know it's gone when BBC1 HD goes (Ch41)D3&4/PSB 2 OKLocal/LLS No reception anyway in normal conditionsARQ A/COM 5 OKSDN/COM 4 All SDN channels missing (Ch51)ARQ B/COM…

Yes it's always connected. Maybe the YouView branded software didn't install properly in the first place. The box was deffo BT branded in the software (menus as well as the splash, which never changes). Now it's back (I'm on Plusnet). A question, I assume the software is downloaded to disk, installed, then marked as…

My Humax woke up today with a Maintenance Mode screen and decided to Software reset to BT 31.69.0 and 3.5.132. I've immediately re updated, and no channels or recordings or scheduled are affected.
