Yes, mine works well with NOW broadband.
-
Support? Haha.
-
Has anybody received one of these boxes other than a trial box yet or is it just an announcement for a new box down the line?
-
Question actually was 'Can anyone update me on this, whether its true and when is it likely to happen? Tks'. So I can not see the answer of when it is likely to happen. Has a post been deleted that answered that?
-
Not yet Scott. Watch this space.
-
Yes. It's all about best price. I understand that it wasn't paid up front. The new investor will front payments. It's called business Visionman.
-
So you would prefer that they don't make their content available on 'British Television' as you put it.
-
So are we saying there is no help available in this forum Scott?
-
WOW what a helpful attitude in a 'help' forum.
-
All to help with the sale price. Dont see BT forking out for the 3 years or even 1, more profit in BB FTTP now.
-
but BT may not want to pay it, hence looking for a financial partner or a sale of BT Sport.

Received this update on both my 2100's this morning. I find it good and easy to navigate. Thank you for a good update this time YouView.
-
@Sarah as this is a personalised experience. The first thing I will personalise is the hide channels that has taken so long to bring back. Thank you so much for 'allowing' us to hide channels again. Wonderful.
-
Just moved from Tier 1 to Tier 2 today. Haven't noticed much change yet, the Prosecco is still taking just as long to chill. Happy Christmas to you all.
-
The iplayer app on the 2018 LG can handle that OK.
-
Yes, that's about all it is now.
-
Works well on my SkyQ box.
-
Thanks, seems odd that it has not been implemented but could be, especially when so many have suggested it. Very odd business logic.
-
Is the YouView box 2100 too old to be able to implement this simple idea?
-
ha ha, same old Visionman.
-
WOW, what are the sales figures like at the moment then?
-
Not the same as they promised when they moved to pictures and said it was a new generation with the hide channels that we had before restored 'shortly'. You have a very short memory Visionman. It was the beginning of a slow death for YouView.
-
On the issue of cutting edge, did YouView ever sort out the hide channels facility that they promised many moons ago?
-
BBC Sounds on LG TV is the same as the YouView one sadly.
-
WOW, but you are a 'Super User'.
-
Y view will end up as legacy apparently
-
OK, just work at trying to be more effective.
-
That's good to hear @Visionman. You are not very effective if you been at it all that time. Perhaps you should think about retiring.
