Need a remote code for my Sony TV

I have what I believe to be quite a mainstream TV - it's a Sony Bravia KDL-32U3000 but I cannot get the remote of my Humax YouView box coded correctly for it.

I can get the basic power switching and volume working, and one code will also work the guide, however I cannot get the useful functions such as 'mute' to work.

Humax support were no use when I called them.

Can anyone help?

Have you tried this?:-

Configure remote for Top 10 branded TVs - to set top box
• Press and hold (3 secs) based on the remote version
• Green LEDs flash 3 times and stays on, entering configuration mode
• Press and hold single digit TV code (see list below)
• Remote will now sequentially send power off TV codes for this manufacturer at 3 sec intervals
• Release key when the TV responds i.e. turns off (maybe immediately), Green LED flashes 2 times
• Remote now configured for TV control
Brand Input code

Grundig 1
JVC 2
LG 3
Panasonic 4
Philips 5
Samsung 6
Sharp 7
Sony 8
Thomson 9
Toshiba 0

Thanks, but unfortunately this doesn't work with my Humax remote.

If you've got it to communicate with the TV, have you tried all the keys to see if one of them "randomly" works for mute. On mine, controlling my Panasonic, the "skip-left" works as mute.

ON/OFF and Volume control is about as much as you can hope for from this kind of basic multi-device remote. Get a proper multi-device remote from the likes of Harmony or One-For-All for full control.

That's a shame as I've just migrated from BT Vision and their remote operated my TV perfectly.
